A high-flying property developer allegedly owes over $900,000 to 19 tradespeople and businesses for a single project. Ash Samadi, who drives a $680,000 Audi and hangs out with TV personalities and sports stars, lives in a $15 million property in Sydney’s Point Piper area, which is identical to Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull’s.

However, in the real world of construction, irate tradesmen and business owners accuse Ash Samadi of engaging in fraudulent behavior that has negatively harmed their finances. Those pursuing Ash Samadi claim he owes them money for their work on an apartment and hotel project in central Sydney.

Electricians, carpenters, builders, and a paving company claim Ash Samadi owes them hundreds of thousands of dollars. A total of 19 tradies and businesses claim to be owed a staggering $911,200.

When asked about the situation, Ash Samadi admitted to signing checks for progress payments on one of his projects. However, when asked why he had not continued to pay the checks, Mr. Samadi stated that the matter would have to be resolved in court.

One business sued Ash Samadi and obtained a $29,000 judgment.

However, the real estate company where Ash Samadi was a previous director was abruptly liquidated, and the money owed was never paid.
